For all the SportsCenter Top 10 fan, here are 12th Rock’s 2018 Top 10 Moments!

2018 will go down in 12th Rock history as your generosity provided the many opportunities to advance the mission of 12th Rock.

10… Senior Day: Celebrated with a special ceremony | 16 seniors and their families at the season-ending 12th Rock Basketball tournament. The seniors received a personalized Bible and their mother received flowers, all part of a tradition which will continue with 25 seniors this basketball season.

9… Chris Pugh (an assistant coach in our basketball league) and TJ Sansalone (a referee for the basketball league) were recognized by the Orange County Executive Youth Awards for their volunteering & community involvement. Nino Lostumbo and Brian Healy (both high school seniors this year) were recognized by the Orange County Youth Bureau for their willingness to coach in this upcoming basketball season.

8…The Kool kids (four children of a single mother) enjoying a summer camp, called Amped, full of activities centered on the Gospel. They personally thanked us, without their mother’s prompting, for the great week and mentioned they can’t wait until next year.

7… The open doors to the public schools as we facilitated anti-bullying assemblies, in partnership with Word of Life Dunk team, impacting over 2500 students with the presence of Christ.

6… The Northeastern Field underwent a major clean-up/development as generous community members donated, time talent and treasure. The icing on the cake was 12th Rock received full planning board approval in November to move forward with the sports complex, more to come on that. VIDEO

5… Andy Mineo performed a benefit concert for 12th Rock. A highlight of that concert was when Andy invited Lucas Sprauge and Jesse Cooper on stage (two kids who participate in the basketball league) to dance with him as he sang!

4… Wolly Naz youth group joined us this summer for a week of missions. They helped 12th Rock facilitate the Amped camp, clean up the NE Field, run a one day soccer and basketball camp for migrant workers’ children, and so much more.

3… 160 plus families from the local school districts were provided a Thanksgiving meal and 100 plus kids will receive Christmas wish list items. This was made possible by the partnership with the local schools and Grace Community Church of Middletown.

2…12th Rock facilitated their first events on the the NE Field this year, including the spring and fall archery programs, throwing clinics (overseen by former Manhattan College coach, Dan Mecca), and a couple property progress/preview events.
