July Newsletter

Big vision indeed, we are humbled by all God is doing in, and through, 12th Rock this Spring/Summer because of YOUR support.. Over the past few years, our programs have impacted 3,000+ people annually. This year we are on track to impact over 4,000. How? In addition to our regular programming and events, this year 12th Rock is hosting the modified championships cross-country race for the OCIAA. There will be 20 teams from area public schools represented at this race. We are also working on hosting an invitational as well. These races are the foundation for the future of events that will be hosted on a regular basis at the future home of 12th Rock HERE.

Take a look at all the exciting things God has been up to, and how you might be able to help us continue to impact more kids, and their families, this year:

  • A positive message was shared to Kreeger Elementary School in Poughkeepsie, NY alongside some high-flying students from the Reverse Dunk team of Word of Life Bible Institute in May.

  • Soccer Camp and AMPED planned for the week of August 12th. The soccer camp is for migrant workers kids in Pine Island, NY. AMPED is a fun filled evening camp for kids at Grace Community Church in Middletown with a Gospel emphasis.

  • We had a great time teaching the sport of archery to over 40 students at the Alternative Learning Center (Valley Central Schools) in Maybrook, NY. Robert and his classmates were engaged and developed incredible confidence over the ten days spent together. We are looking forward to next year already.

  • The 12th Rock Titans, AAU team, enjoyed a weekend of basketball and building strong friendships at Spooky Nook. The varsity team went 5-0 on their way to winning the championship!

  • 25 kids and their families enjoyed 12th Rock Archery this spring, building lasting friendships, learning Biblical truths and enjoying community in the great outdoors.

  • Dion Cauthen, Evan Jaloszynski and Isaac Jaloszynski were honored with the Outstanding Leadership/Volunteerism/Citizenship Award at the Orange County Executive's Youth Awards for their willingness to volunteer as referees, and coaches.

  • Families enjoyed a Father’s Day at Dutchess Stadium as we worshiped, tailgated, and watch a baseball game. Thanks to Word of Life and Grace Community Church-Fishkill for the collaborative effort to pull it off despite the rain.

  • Archers will come to the property August 17th to participate in the 12th Rock Open to benefit area youth archery programs. MORE INFO

  • Area schools and their families will get a chance to see the property and enjoy the last race of the modified cross-country season as 12th Rock hosts 20 schools in October. This sign above, along with 4 others will testify the vision for the property to all those in attendance.

  • Concessions and set up/tear down at the 12th Rock Open August 17th, 2019

  • Archery instructors needed for all archery programs
