Outdoor Throws Facility Upgrades

Over 200 athletes, from all over the Northeast, competed in our USATF sanctioned Summer & Fall Throws Invitational Series. The competitions took place using our temporary throws areas. Many athletes set personal records during the meets. We saw an athlete set a world leading mark in the hammer event, and another set two American records in the weight throw.

As we build our new indoor track facility, we plan to maintain a permanent out throws facility.

COMPLETION GOAL | SPRING 2021

• New 120’ long javelin runway & vector

• Relocate the shot circle & vector

• Level the grade in discus/hammer vector

• Upgrade existing discus cage

• Add a spectator area with bleachers
